ON AN ANCIENT ART

The UCS grappling program provides reality-based tools and knowledge to effectively defend against grapplers regardless of size. The curriculum consists of awareness, psychology and mechanics of clinch holds, choke holds, joint locks, nerve/muscle clusters and a variety of takedowns, throws and controlling techniques. Energy sensitivity and physical stamina are also emphasized in this program as all are essential traits in this range, where an enhanced sense of touch and relentless physical duress is vital to survival.
